The main activities of the Cancer RRG are :

• Seminar programmes at QUB and UU
  • QUB Seminar Programme
  • UU Seminar Series
• Local workshops and conferences
• Pump priming for projects between different individuals within the Cancer RRG to promote cohesion and support new investigators. Further Info..
• Organisation of an annual Cancer RRG workshop at the UK meeting of the NCRI to promote Cancer Research in Northern Ireland
• Support for funded research associates to travel to conferences and courses

Membership of the Cancer RRG

The Cancer RRG has two main types of membership: Principal Investigator (PI) and Associate Investigator (AI).

AI membership

The main criterion for AI membership is that the applicant is actively engaged in cancer research in NI. If you think yu fall into this category and would like to register then please apply using the form on this web site.

PI membership

For PI membership you must:

1. Be in receipt of funding from the R & D office for NI (Funded PI status)
2. Be in receipt of national or international peer review funding (Elected PI status)
3. Be a Chair of a Special Interest Group (non-voting member)

PIs are members of the main organising committee of the Cancer RRG {link to structure of CRRG}. If you think you fall into one of the above categories then please apply using the form on this web site.

Annual Reports
